ITINERARY

Day 1 Day 1

On arrival at Hanoi International airport you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel. In the afternoon explore around charming French Quarter, passing by historic landmarks of Ha Noi: Parisian-style Opera House, St. Joseph's Cathedral & Rue Paul Bert (now Trang Tien Street). Then you will proceed to the Hoan Kiem Lake - the very heart of the city for photo shooting. Later proceed for a special “Cyclo ride” tour around Ha Noi’s famous Old Quarter with 36 streets and guilds; wandering through the maze of bustling streets that made up the capital 1000 year ago with stop at central Dong Xuan market. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Day 2

At 08.00AM, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. We will journey through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay, a World Heritage with thousands of limestone and Dolomite Island and islets. Upon arrival, embark a traditional wooden junk for cruising through the Bay, visit its breathtaking seascape created by rocky islands and emerald serene water, with stopovers to discover grottoes inside islands. You will have chance to hike up steps in caves, relax and have sunbath on beach, go swimming or take part in some beach activities. Lunch and dinner served on board.

Day 3 Day 3

The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. Our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman's head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet, etc. Have Brunch or lunch on board.
Disembark from the cruise and proceed for city tour of Hanoi. Begin with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh complex, inclusive of Ba Dinh square, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts & One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to Tran Quoc pagoda -Vietnam’s oldest pagoda on the eastern bank of the Westlake. Next visit Temple of Literature- the temple of Confucius and also Vietnam’s first national university dated from 11st century. Five impressive courtyards with paths once reserved for the Emperor are now open to the public.
After sightseeing you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Saigon. On arrival at Saigon, Tan Son Nhat International airport you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 4 Day 4

After Breakfast, proceed to visit the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence and reunification.
In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum which presents a partial, but riveting view of the American War, as it is known in Vietnam. Continue to the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in April 30, 1975. The day ends with visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the bustling Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Overnight in Saigon

Day 5 Day 5

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to Cai Be floating market. Here you will board the cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to BinhHoa Phuoc Island. The islands are totally given to agriculture, especially the growing of tropical fruits, which are shipped to markets in Ho Chi Minh City. Visit Binh Hoa Phuoc Island where one of the fascinating things to be seen are the “monkey bridges”. Later proceed to Chau Doc. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 6 Day 6

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and you will be transferred to the port to take the speed boat to Phnom Penh at 07:30 AM (5 hrs approximately), the capital of Cambodia. Its favourably located at the confluence of three major rivers - the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac River
On arrival at Phnom Penh, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and later proceed for a city tour of Phnom Penh. Visit the Royal Palace. Visitors are only allowed to visit the palace’s Silver Pagoda and its surrounding compound. Wat Phnom has the legend that in 1372 Lady Penh (Yeay Penh) fished a floating KOKI tree out of the river. Inside of the tree there were four Buddha statues. She built a hill (Phnom means hill) and a small temple (Wat) at the site of what is now known aster the hill (Phnom) and its creator (Penh), hence Phnom Penh. Also visit the Cambodian Culture museum and Killing Fields memorial. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 7 Day 7

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Phnom Penh. Start the day learning about the Khmer Rouge and Cambodia’s recent history on a guided tour of the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the notorious Choeung Ek “Killing Fields”
In the afternoon, take the flight to Siem Reap, the gateway into the Angkor temples. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Angkor Archaeological Park encompasses dozens of temple ruins including Bayon, Banteay Srei and the legendary Angkor Wat. On arrival at Siem Reap airport, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and later proceed for Cambodian experience with a tour of the ancient capital of King Indravarman I (877-889), now referred to as the Rolous Group and known as the birthplace of classical Khmer art and architecture. Take an orientation walk around hotel area and later in the afternoon explore the Psar Chass, also known as the “Old Market".
In the evening, enjoy the dinner with the traditional performance of Khmer dance. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 8 Day 8

Today wake up before dawn and take a "Tuk-Tuk" ride to visit the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm. Sunrise is one of the most beautiful and haunting times to visit the temples whose ancient sandstone blocks are painted gold by the early morning rays.
Return to the hotel for breakfast before going back to the temple complex to visit the magnificent Angkor Wat— the largest Khmer temple and finest example of Angkorian art and architecture.
In the afternoon, head out of town and embark on a short cruise along Tonle Sap Lake to visit the local floating villages. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 9 Day 9

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring the ancient fortified capital: Angkor Thom. Nearly 10 sq km in size, this city once housed a population of over 1 million people. Start your tour with Angkor Thom’s imposing South Gate, topped with the four serenely smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara.
Next, visit Bayon temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King then head to Banteay Srei and Preah Khan (Sacred Sword): one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 10 Day 10

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and you will be dropped at Siem Reap airport for your return flight.
